Isn’t it annoying having to stay in the living room to watch a show just because it’s the only one connected to the Sky/cable box?

However it’s actually INCREDIBLY easy to send the signal to any TV in the home, not just the one that has the main connection.

Just get a simple wireless video sender kit and you’ll be able to send the TV signal to any TV you like. You’ll get two items in the kit, a sender and a receiver. For the sender just take the scart lead running from the Sky/cable box and take the other end out the back of the main TV, then plug it into the sender. Take the receiver and use another scart lead to connect it to the TV you want to watch. So now the TV signal goes from the Sky/cable box to the sender, then travels wirelessly to the receiver, which delivers it to the TV you want to watch. You can even use the remote on the TV you’re watching to change the channel on the box downstairs!

A couple of hints though. There are various ‘channels’ or frequencies that the wireless TV signal uses, which may suffer interference from other appliances (usually the microwave!) Just try out all the channels to get the best picture.
